Northeast Medical Practice is a comprehensive center for primary care, health/weight optimization, and aesthetic medicine. Dr. Berger provides longer patient visits, allowing him to uncover the root cause of disease. We also use cutting edge aesthetic treatments to optimize our patients’ appearances. By combining these approaches Dr. Berger strives to not only achieve a longer lifespan for his patients, but also healthspan – a significant period of maximal quality of life.
Our Mission
At Northeast Medical Practice, Dr. Berger and his staff aim to provide patients with a holistic form of care that prevents chronic disease before it starts and optimizes a patient’s external appearance as well. In traditional healthcare, the patient is subjected to brief visits with a physician who does not have time to listen to the patient and truly hear their concerns. At NEMP, we strive to provide a health care experience like that of the family doctor of years ago who had time and authentically cared for his patients.

Meet our Founders
William A. Berger, MD
Dr. Berger is the founder and medical director of Northeast Medical Practice. He earned his bachelor of science degree magna cum laude in Biology with University Honors. He then completed his MD degree with High Distinction in Basic, Translational, and Clinical Science Research at the Frank Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. Dr Berger completed his medical training in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Elmhurst). Prior to his medical training, Dr. Berger served the State of CT as an environmental and food safety chemist. During this time he also taught biology courses for nursing and PA students at Quinnipiac University. He has authored over 20 scientific peer-reviewed publications, including a Sigma Xi Society Paper of the Year. He believes in forging personal relationships with patients to accompany them on a long-term, sustainable path towards optimal aesthetic health and wellness.
Irina Berger, MS, PHR, PHR-CA
Irina is a professional with experience in developing, leading, and launching innovative programs to enhance corporate culture, develop employees, and support change across the organization. She has a master’s degree in HR from Baruch College and a Professional in Human Resources certificate from the Society of Human Resources Professionals.
