For patients who want the very best primary care possible, Dr. Berger now offers a concierge internal medicine program. The program provides the old-fashioned care of a highly trained physician with a personalized approach. Beyond the quality service that NMP is known for, the Concierge Program will offer significant advantages. The foremost is advocacy for the patient in the emergency department or admitted to the hospital. Anyone who has ever been subjected to hospitalization will understand the frustrating experience of not knowing the medical plan, who their doctors are, and being unable to obtain answers. The hospital can be a black box of a machine to those not trained in medicine. Dr. Berger will visit our concierge patients in the hospital, not only for social purposes, but more importantly to coordinate care with the medical team. He will advocate on your behalf and inform the primary team of your detailed medical history. No one knows you like your internist does, and Dr. Berger will be a valuable asset to the hospital team in this regard. Patient’s often come to the hospital in a condition that does not allow them to convey their past medical history, list of medications, etc. While Dr. Berger will not be admitting you to the hospital, he will be an invaluable advocate on your behalf.
Beyond the above, Dr. Berger will also make house calls as appropriate. The Concierge Program will provide the best medical care, via the old-fashioned method of the physician who is truly “Your Doctor.”
The details of the Concierge Internal Medicine Program are:
- Initiation fee $199, Membership $199/month, cancel anytime.
- Membership fee includes:
- Advocacy for the patient in the emergency department or admitted to the hospital
- House calls as appropriate
- Body composition analysis with SECA 125 four point bioimpedance scale monthly
- 10% Discount on meal replacement products to further assist with weight loss
- 10% discount on dermal filler/neurotoxin to counteract volume loss in the face
- 10% discount on facial/microdermabrasion/chemical peel to improve skin health
- Covered by insurance (according to patient’s plan):
- Medical appointments
- Laboratory work
- Imaging
- Referral to specialists
- In general, all medical care ordinarily covered by insurance
- For patients without insurance:
- Initial visit $250
- Follow up visits $200
